  • Enrichment ProgrammeHenry
    • Finalising when it will be run, the curriculum that Henry devised has been approved.
    • The Enrichment Inset was arranged for yesterday but was postponed. Will be run on a more person by person basis. The first of these meetings will be at lunchtime on Tuesday 29th September in rm 217.
    • Mr North will chase teachers on this.
    • This will be delivered by Jack, Dian and Henry.
  • CalaisJack
    • Has spoken to Mr McGregor about a support project for refugees in Calais. He said no to an own clothes day.
    • Ms Chapman could give us advice – Mr Price will pass on contact information to Jack.
    • Group volunteers: Ms Wright, Ms Downes, Ms Schuil, Dewi, Eugene, Alex Fry
  • School’s Goals – Chris read a couple of the sample goals (attached to last week’s minutes) and indicated he felt the group could do better with this. He’ll bring some better options next week and run a bit of a session on getting everyone’s views represented
  • Welcome to Ms Downes, Eugene, Mr O’Brien
    • Ms Downes – feeling happy to be here and has been before
    • Mr O’Brien: Black History Month – Mr O’Brien expressed his views about the narrow focus of this event. He’s keen to observe the month and do it in a new way.
      • The proposal would be to generate an anthology of Heritage writing, where students contribute writing that expresses information about their own cultural and ethnic heritage
      • Rob Price can provide some contact with Lambeth Black Teachers,
      • Group volunteers: Mr O’Brien, Eugene, Dewi
      • Ms Downes echoed this about the limitations of previous Black History events. She wishes it to be something that encompasses all diversities
      • Mr O’Brien sees it as something that ultimately obviates its own need.
  • Incident Recording – the different categories of incident recording have been removed from the school information system. We’ll approach the senior management to ask for these to be re-inserted as
